Solid boots, slow delivery

I ordered a pair of their waterproof hiking shoes. The product itself seems well-made, especially for the price point. They fit true to size and felt pretty sturdy on my first hike. My only real gripe was the delivery time; it took almost two weeks to get to me in California, which felt a bit long. Customer service was polite when I inquired, but they couldn't speed it up. Overall, I'm happy with the boots, just wish they had arrived quicker. The quality is good for an affordable brand, definitely comparable to some higher-priced options I've seen.

Love my new insoles!

I got some memory foam insoles from Riemot and they are fantastic! My old work boots felt so uncomfortable by the end of the day, but these insoles made such a difference. It's like walking on clouds now. I thought they might be too thick, but they fit perfectly in my boots. I'm definitely going to buy another pair for my casual sneakers. What a great little upgrade!

Cup holder was useful

I got the luggage travel cup holder for my last trip. It actually worked pretty well, kept my coffee upright while I was pulling my suitcase through the airport. It's a simple idea but super handy. No issues with it falling off or anything. Made my airport experience a little less clumsy, which is a win in my book.

Good value walking shoes

I was looking for some affordable walking shoes and Riemot had a good sale on. I snagged a pair of their lightweight travel shoes for about 15% off the original price, which felt like a solid deal. Shipping was free, which always helps with the budget. They arrived in about 6 days. The shoes are comfortable enough for my daily walks, definitely worth what I paid.

thinking of getting that travel cup holder. anyone know if it actually fits most suitcases? I have a pretty standard carry-on, don't want it to be useless.

K Kevin 2 months ago
Yeah, it should! I have a Delsey and a cheap Amazon Basics one, worked fine on both. The velcro straps are pretty adjustable.

I've seen it on a bunch of different bags at the airport. Seems like a pretty universal design, hooks on to the handle. Haven't heard of anyone having issues with it not fitting.

hey, was looking at some hiking boots from riemot. are they generally true to size or should I size up/down? kinda worried about getting the wrong fit.

C Carly 2 months ago
I found them pretty spot on actually. I usually wear an 8 and ordered an 8, fit great. Maybe check their size chart if you're really unsure though.

For my walking shoes, I got my normal size and they were good. I think it depends on the style sometimes but for most of their stuff, true to size seems to be the deal.

how's the return process with Riemot? ordered some insoles but might need to swap for a different type.

M Marcus Reyes 2 months ago
Returns were super easy for me. Just followed the instructions on their site, printed a label, and sent it back. Got my refund pretty quick.

I returned a pair of shoes once. No hassle at all, just make sure you keep the original packaging if you can. They're pretty good about it.

just signed up for the newsletter, got a 10% off code. can I use that with one of the sale items? like if boots are already 20% off?

L Lisa 2 months ago
Nah, usually you can't stack them. I tried it last Black Friday, the system only let me apply one discount.

Pretty sure they say codes can't be combined with other offers. It'll probably tell you at checkout if it's not allowed, but my guess is no.

Anyone tried Riemot hiking boots compared to, like, a Merrell or something? Wondering if they hold up for actual trails or if they're more for light walks.

J Jared Torres 2 months ago
They're not Merrell quality, definitely a step down but for the price they're really good. I've done some decent day hikes in mine and they held up fine. For hardcore stuff, maybe not, but for most people, they're solid.

I'd say they're more comparable to something like Mountain Warehouse. Good for the money, but don't expect them to last as long or perform as well as a super high-end brand if you're hitting serious multi-day treks.
